the word is flesh and blood,

not ink and text.

the word is love and life,

not ideas or thoughts.

 

this is the word

walking with us, living in a tent.

i cannot read the word

but i can talk

i can listen

i can walk

i can think 

i can create

i can live with the word

the word speaks to me and i to him

i look to those with whom i live and say

"this is the word."
